New Dredging Discharge Module
When discharging dredge material with a spray pontoon or while rainbowing, Viking can now be used to fill the Matrix DTM model based on the discharge. Several parameters are available to customize and adjust how the DTM is filled.
-
Files Shared Over the Network Can Now Be Saved Locally
When multiple Viking systems are used in a network setup — both on a wired local network and in a wireless network with multiple vessels — files and data could already be shared on the navigation screen. It is now also possible to save any shared data to your local machine. This is a very useful option for collecting data from remote machines, or for keeping your own copy when vessels are out of reach.
-
New Heading Device Based on Speed and Course
For advanced setups where the Object Software Module is also used to position additional machines and/or equipment beyond the main vessel itself, Viking can now use course and speed data to calculate a new heading, which in turn can be applied to secondary objects on screen.
-
DXF Importer Upgraded with Direct CSV Export Option
While working on importing DXF data a CSV of all data entities in the DXF can now be directly exported.
-
Trench Bucket Added
For excavators working with a V-trenching bucket, a new tool is now embedded in Viking. The dimensions of the V-bucket can be entered, and Viking can then use this information for direct DTM editing in the desired V-shape.
